Our Story
CalmDad was founded by a father raising a daughter with autism, shaped by lived experience and a deep understanding of the realities many families face. What began as a personal journey grew into a mission to support families navigating parenthood through autism acceptance, understanding, and community.
CalmDad exists to remind families that they are not alone, and that autism does not need to be fixed, hidden, or overcome. It deserves to be understood, respected, and accepted.

Our mission is to support families raising autistic children by promoting autism acceptance and providing tools, resources, and community that honor neurodiversity. We aim to create spaces where families feel supported, understood, and empowered in their parenting journey.

CalmDad supports families through thoughtfully chosen products, shared educational resources, and inclusive community events. Everything we offer is guided by an acceptance-first approach and informed by real-life parenting experiences.

Giving Back
Giving back is a core part of CalmDad. We host non-judgmental events that welcome families of all abilities and backgrounds. Whenever possible, we also support families who are struggling, using the means available to us, always with care, dignity, and compassion.
